I think it's wonderful your son has you in his life to say such wonderful things about him. How lucky he is.

Just happened to find THE AMERICAN DREAM on Premium Demand channel last night. It's a 1999 film and if one wants to see what repressed homosexual feelings can do to a person it is a good film to watch..

The father who is a Lt. Col in the Marines throws his son of out the home because he thinks he is having an affair with the man next door. After his son leaves he goes over to the house
and in a dialogue that is complex believes that the guy
is gay ( he is not ) and he makes an advance to him and is rejected.

The result of this I will not share in case anyone wants to watch it.However it was timely for what a lot of you are discussing here.

Glad that you were accepting of your son..In the seventies I had two boys ... students who killed themselves for their homosexual feelings.. Very sad.
