Yep, those are the pests. One year they had a web where I could see them from an upstairs window. Had a black billed cuckoo show up, tear open the web and start eating them.

none in our trees or adjoining neighbors,, haven't seen webs this year until i drove to post office. old building very small in country behind barber shop. well on the down i saw all kinds of trees a mile from here loaded with their webs. i guess we were just lucky.
