Wharfie, you didn't read the fine print. To keep it simple, I just mentioned the basic principle. You would need to use your imagination to fill in details. That is obviously expecting too much of you. Which is probably why you have been unable to follow my reasoning on the dreaded Greenhouse Effect too [or as it's now called more fashionably, Climate Change - to allow for ice ages during Global Warming]. In your civilized world, OBL could buy an American citizenship with no hassle. That'll be interesting. And what would happen if some applicants had to take out a loan to pay for their citizenship? Then we could have a sub prime citizen loan problem where the borrower (the new citizen) couldn't pay their monthly amount, and would have their citizenship stripped?! Of course all those sub-prime citizenship loans would already have been packed together and sold in collateralized tranches so the risk would be spread around the system.....
