Kumar, in Moslem circles, religion and politics are the same thing. In the "free" world there are constant pressures to drag superstition into temporal matters too. <

It's the nature of megalomaniacs to know no borders. The superstitionists won't allow separation.

Politics in the USA is mostly about religion these days - with Crusaders versus Islamic Jihad costing a fortune.

I would like it if the superstitious would practise their ideologies among consenting adults in private. But they constantly seek to hack my head with a knife, take my property and boss me about. If the Christians aren't at it, the Moslems are. If neither of them are making headway, Helengrad will enact a bunch more rules and confiscations.

Freedom is very thin on the ground.
