Jefferson is a lone wolf, not connected with anyone else in the party. Pelosi has tried hard to get rid of him but somehow he got re-elected. Jefferson is also a drop in the bucket compared to the immense rightwing corrupt we have seen since the phony Enron energy crisis of 2000. I would say 5% of the corrupotion in DC has been democrat, about 95% rightwing GOP. And that's being charitable to the rightwing. Abramoff for instance didn't give a dime to democrats, despite the outlandish lies put out about this by the RNC and Newsmax types. And the Abramoff trial is far from over. More GOP heads are going to roll, and soon, big names too.
