"Can we say that not all (R)'s are crooks, but an inordinately disproportionate number seem to fall into that category?" Seems to be the case. Now, the bathroom brigade is easy to see. If someone hates the fact they are gay and tries to deny it all their life, then they would find the Republican party attractive. They can beat their chests about hating gays and fit right in. The rest, though, isn't quite as easy to explain. Maybe it is just that when the Republican party was riding high, and seemed to have a lock on the future, the more scam minded just naturally gravitated in that direction.
