You could also avoid ingesting foods, drinks, and dust with mercury, lead and arsenic.

At hardware stores you can buy little test kits to see if your wall paint has lead in it.

I would think Chinese would take heavy metal poisoning very seriously, as Chinese understand the value of higher IQ.
