:-) I'm glad you liked it. I wrote it because it was disturbing for me to see gay bashing, or something very like it, coming from the left. I didn't see it on this thread, but the tone of some of the criticism of Craig, and some of the substance too, veered very close to a condemnation of his lifestyle- and while the left may go overboard occasionally and be a bit too authoritarian about laws to save you from your food, or your boss, or whatever, in general the left has always been fairly supportive of sexual freedom. I could wish the left were a little braver about supporting other kinds of freedom, but I certainly don't want to see the left give up it's tolerance for various lifestyle choices. And of course, I'll say again, the above issue has nothing to do with Mr. Craig's abuse of his office when he was caught, nor does it excuse his terrible treatment of other homosexuals.
