ballsscheaty; Nobody is denied healthcare in the U.S. Anybody who shows up at the emergency room in any hospital in the country is given healthcare and that includes illegal immigrants. I can see that everyone here is an unhealthy buffoon who expects the medical system to solve their problems for free Those two comments are at odds with each other. The big failing of the US medical philosophy as you and conservatives espouse is that we are are spending huge sums on - fixing people. Fixing people after they are so bad they end up in medical crises INSTEAD of preventative health care. It's bassackwards. If we are fixing everyone anyway as you say - why not do it more efficiently and right? steve
