"We need to figure out why women develop breast cancer and work towards preventing the disease."

Researchers at the UH in Hilo did a study over a decade ago showing that countries where women use nylon type bras suffer breast cancer at a far higher rate than countries where women use no bras or cotton only.

I personally favor the 'no bra' as being the safest approach but i have had little success in my campaign to convince women. I do sport at least one black eye most of the time though. -g-

I have yet to see any "Universal Health Care" plan that would teach people how to develop and sustain a lifestyle that prevents most disease.

Well balls, we don't have a health plan yet so we can make or define it anyway we want. We can certainly design it around prevention if the people work towards that goal. I would not be against expecting smokers or really fat people to pay more for instance. Hay, it can be designed anyway we want - if we design one.

As for your meat comments; we got to where we are through the evolutionary trail by eating meat. There is nothing wrong with meat. However there is something wrong with what we PUT IN the meat.
