Perhaps its hard to imagine an NSAID being that potent, but Diclofenac is standard treatment in Europe for kidney stones.

This particular NSAID reduces or eliminates the need for Demerol or opiates.

Likewise, the closely related NSAID Indocin is the most potent fever reducer available. It is not even slightly comparable to other NSAIDs. Only limited studies of Indocin in treating kidney stones have been done.
