>>The statement that "some do and some don't" eventually end up preying on children applies just as well to people who do not engage in random sex in public bathrooms.

That statement almost implies there is no difference between normal relationships and abnormal sexual relationships.

Humans through a long evolutionary trail have developed a relationship between man and woman that guarantees the continuation of the specie. That normal relationship is reinforced by social programming developed by our ancestors. For instance sisters and brothers don't marry. .......When something goes wrong either in the genetic side or the social side, abnormalities result. People born with homosexual desires, is now I think often contributed as a genetic result. Likewise, people who grow up in conflicted families, often produce problem children - adults. <<

Steve -

My statement doesn't imply anything of the sort. It's a very clear statement, and it means what it says. Obviously, I can't control what you choose to read into it.

Here's another statement. Conflicted families come in all stripes. I grew up in a standard family unit. One father, one mother, three children. Perfect, right? Sure, except that my father was a violent alcoholic, given to sudden and unexpected fits of rage. Then there was the fact that he was in the Air Force, and we moved, on average, once a year. It was a chaotic, frightening, damaging childhood.

I'm fine now, thanks, and I only mention all of that to demonstrate that the view that dual-parent heterosexual family units aren't necessarily idyllic havens for young children. But of course you knew that already.

Three more comments. One, the survival of the species is not in question at this point. Overpopulation is a much bigger problem. Two, what's with this fascination with bestiality? I really don't think it's very common at all.

But speaking of perverts, did you hear about the sadomasochistic necrophile who was into bestiality? He got off by beating a dead horse. Which is kind of what we're starting to do here.
