Will you be able to keep it cooled on your way home? I don't think heat would be good for it. I just put a note in my day timer to send you a note if the corn is still available on Tuesday.

I just made a discovery when I vacuumed mine. The moisture in the ear with the husk still on tries to get sucked out with all the air. After doing 3 of these I discovered the inside of my vacuum area had a lot of moisture in it. This ruined my brother's Food Saver a couple years ago, so the factory said. So for the last 3 ears I rolled them up in a few layers of paper towel, then vacuumed them. No more moisture in the machine. You should make note of this when you get them home.

I'm gonna get one ear out in a week or so and see how I like it. If it's as good as I hope it will be, I'll get a couple dozen more.
