One's political ideology is formed by a multitude of influences and life experiences. If its different than mine it doesn't mean that you're not an intelligent person. Nadine's ideology IMO is very extreme but she doesn't come across as an unintelligent person. My assumption that she's "bright" is founded on my observations of her detailed historical knowledge, her diction etc. IMO she's very misguided but she's no dummy Don.
