To accompany my desktop..
I bought an HP laptop running Windows Vista used on Ebay in late July.
I am liking the new operating system and have had no issues thus far.
Fingers crossed.

The norm is not to install Vista... Our customers represent about 126,000 PCs, of which none have Vista. They recently switched from Windows 98 to Windows XP to some of these, but they definitely have no Vista plans.

For the same reason, we're not planning to support Vista with our products, either - maybe we'll start looking into it in 2008.
