When am I eligible to put cash to some use? Any given day?

From the header -

Notice our new rule:
You can trade any day you like, but you are limited to two (2) days of trading activity per month incl. initial picks.
On any given day, you can do as many trades as you like (eg., cover a short, sell a holding, buy new stocks) but
you can only be active on two days out of each month.

So you use your cash on any day and buy something at the closing price the day after you put in the order. Unfortunately, I will be away from today's morning until Sep 23rd, so if you put in an order during that time it will count, but it won't show up until Sep 23rd. In fact, not much of anything regarding the game's update status is going to show up until Sep 23rd...
