You're right. If they no longer have product to deliver, what's the sense of jailing them? They will have sealed their fate with relationships gone bad in the past.

Decriminalizing drugs would be a huge step in solving a problem, that no amount of money can solve.

Of course, PC will never let it happen. At least in our lifetime.

OK, you guys have convinced me...<g> Go ahead, get the stuff all legalized....and be prepared for the effects of the next two generations.

But, you had better have some serious scientists and mental health professionals tell you some of the downside first. Using current stats and wide sampling of people.

Maybe everything will just be 'hunky-dory'.....We'll know in the next two or three generations (about 50-75 years) if the experiment worked.
