benwood, you seem to think that the wealthy are inherently evil people. You should spend more time on making money and less time lamenting over those who already have. If you think the entire economy is a house of cards and on the verge of collapse, you should borrow every dime you can get your hands on and short the living hell out of the stock market. You'll be rich when the collapse occurs and then you'll be a thug and a bully. You can either choose to play within the system or choose to sit on the sidelines and lament. Perhaps you would be better off living under a communist system like Cuba where everybody is dirt poor but they have universal health care.
