:) Well, okay then. it's just you said the wrong thing to me. Your family followed the legal process to establish residency here...and you all speak English. I don't need no stinkin specifics re the trucking industry...please tell me what benefit they would provide - Canada? They speak English. even if they speak French. Even if the Spanish speakers speak English, they choose Spanish. Why doesn't Mexico take care of its poor, why are they dumping them on us...and I believe opening our borders to Mexican truck/truckers will only exacerbate this problem. The infrastructure of this nation is collapsing, included in that is the middle class whose share of the burden of supporting services for Spanish speakers is disproportionate to the rich...I'm doing my best to fight for the future of this country and future generations... I was watching the news last night - Mattel has had to recall another 700k toys manufactured with lead paint in China and from what I hear it won't stop there - Mattel is in big trouble all their toys are suspect now. Maybe they'll return toy manufacturing to the US..Mexico doesn't have the same standards in crop production that we have - I avoid Mexican produce, not because I'm prejudiced against Mexican grapes - but the toxins on them. Look, people said pre Iraq war the price of gas would go down or maintain...I disagreed knowing better...and yes, we are paying much more for gas...I'm certain that Mexican truckers and whatever they do won't contribute to lowering prices of goods, but will instead increase prices...Why do we have to subsidize Mexico and capitulate to them...Remember what el presidente de Mexico said last week - Wherever there is a Mexican, there also is Mexico...and he doesn't mean that Mexico stands by them like the US USED to stand by its citizens... We have enough trouble here, John...let's fix the mess that we have - before we throw open the floodgates to another potential problem.
