I just don't understand why rational people think it fosters peace to agree with them." Hmm. Because it's the UN determined line that supposedly represents international law? The line that even the US recognizes, and thus calls settlements on the other side "illegal" (although it does nothing beyond that)? Could THAT be the reason?

If Israel gives up the West Bank then Israel will no longer be able to do the things that are holding it in check. So what are you saying? The West Bank is being occupied? They are not living in a foreign land, they are living in disputed territory of Israel. You are something else. Did you stated facts or fiction? Israel is built on stolen land. Settlers are called settlers for a reason. Look it up for Christ sake. So Nadine what do you think about this morning attack on Syria?
