Even though it causes them to misread large segments of the world which are currently driven by religious motives? From my own point of view I feel its the blatant hypocricy of religious motivation that drives people to the left and a more secular logic. Either you are misusing the word hypocrisy or you do not believe that anybody can sincerely have a religious motivation. Which is it?
