where do you think the govt should spend all of the tax revenue that will be realized from the controlled sale of drugs? Why...on earmarks for friends and family and campaign donors, of course. Where else?

Good post, Neeka! I keep thinking of how the politicians handled the school busing fiasco over the years....and how they handled the "new math" fiasco of the 70's (a whole generation of kids have grown up, and haven't a clue about how to handle their own checkbooks, let alone personal finances....many of them can't do basic math).... If I had more time, I'm sure there are so many examples of how our politicians have let us down. Like I said, perhaps the only way to start attacking drugs, is in our own neighborhoods first.. Get some of the REAL info, from the police, from the Judges who work with this every day, etc.....
