That is my point... I can't think of very many instances where fed govt has handled things very well. They bumble along as we taxpayers sit back and watch as our frustration grows ever and ever larger until we revolt as in the case of illegal immigration. The war on drugs, and the stupid just say no campaign (the only Reagan dumb act imo) is pretty much a failure. I do recall reading some statistics awhile back that pointed out students are not smoking dope or cigarettes as much as they did during the 90s, so there has been progress, slow as it is. I just want to put those criminal thugs in SA, Asia, Europe and here out of business once and for all. Legalizing drugs.......with restrictions........is the place to start imo.
