Well, I do my share of taking or I wouldn't be playing, but the competition is pretty strong online. If all one gains from such a challenge is self mastery, patience, discipline, and a deep and abiding respect for REALITY...it is a valuable education in life. It is not too difficult for reasonably intelligent people to figure out sound strategy and tactics. It is the most difficult thing in the world to shut down the ego and to act dispassionately. "I know Canada is BIG, but don't you ever meet any PEOPLE??? :-)" Sometimes I am out VERY early in the morning and the people are as scarce as brain cells on the Bakey Thread! I have not read a post there for something like 6 or 7 months, I think. I doubt I have sacrificed anything remarkable by way of missed profundity!
