Thanks KLP - good link! I'm in Singapore at this very moment, oddly enough. IMHO, in many respects Singapore is the best-run country on the planet: clean, zero corruption, no slums, safe everywhere, fantastic food, great nightlife (really!). All in all the government is conservative and wonderfully competent. In fact, I think the US should outsource it's government to Singapore. It would be an big improvement. Too bad about the damn weather. Barring towing the entire island down to NZ - which I wouldn't put past them - not much they can do about that.
