I've been on the winning side for 14 years. I voted for Clinton twice, and I voted for Bush twice.

My God, you call what Bush has been doing "winning"? And I thought you voted for Clinton only once???

You on the other hand were wrong about Gore 2000, Congress 2002, CA Recall 2003, and Kerry 2004. Only when Bush hits record low approval ratings do you finally "get it right" in 2006. Now you're acting like you knew it all along.

Wrong? Hardly. Wrong was voting for Bush twice. What I predicted has happened. My vote in 2000 was an attempt to prevent the disaster; my vote in 2004 was an attempt to stop the chaos. Both votes failed to accomplish what was intended but they were not wrong.

You must think I'm stoopid ...

Could be.

The set-up:

I've been on the winning side for 14 years . . .

And the punchline:

. . . I voted for Bush twice.

That's what you call comedic timing, folks.
