quite true...al qaeda has always asserted that it is american presence in the middle east that it obgects to. that al qaeda wont stop if israel withdraws is a pointless statement stating the obvious. But bobby keeps saying that it's all about Israel. So does Tony Blair. How many times have we heard that arriving at an Israeli-Palestinian settlement will defuse Muslim grievances? I can't count the times. What these people don't realize is that any Israeli-Palestinian settlement which left Israel in existence would only be a new grievance to add to the list. That's because they're not listening.
