Nice post.

The odds favor the cautious bulls being correct (again) about how far this rally runs. As Slider has posted ad nauseum, goldbugs should have been selling everytime the channel has reached this point. And Slider was correct (I really don't know what Slider is planning to do on this trip).

What is different this time?

Something John Vosilla posted yesterday regarding the housing mess fits nicely with the logic behind my convictions for buying this leg of the gold bull.

That may turn out to be the biggest driver for this leg. <They> can't force liquidity to where the subprime fire burns and this should be a canary to all goldbugs and goldbulls that <they> are running out of ammo to suppress the POG.

Thanks again for suggesting I read The Black Swan. Interesting, but difficult to put into actual practice.
