Bush has long claimed that the economy is doing great. Here are the three factors that make him a liar. 1. Mortgage payments are rising tremendously for working Americans while their home values have stopped increasing, and, in many cases, are dropping. 2. Real middle class income has dropped for three years in a row. And that is using fake CPI numbers. 3. Job growth has turned negative, and that is using the fantasy land of the birth death model.

All 3 of these factors have been skewed to the positive by the excessive use of debt throughout the economy.

However, Bush's friends are doing great. Hooray for the top 5% of Americans.
