This morning my grandson (almost 10) announced that it would be easier to live if electricity and plumbing had not been invented. That was his takeaway summary of a show he saw (animal planet?) yesterday. He went on a little about gases in the atmosphere and such. I spent some time trying to explain dysentary (sp?) and infant mortality and technology solving problems, along with conservation. Just thinking about it makes me tired. There's an amazing amount of crap out there. ARS
