" vacuum seal with my Food Saver, identify and date every package I put in my freezer. I keep the varieties sorted by putting each in a plastic grocery bag. Pork chops, hamburger, steak, roast (and recently, corn on the cob). Dates on every package and I make sure I keep stuff rotated.

Egads, I am a shirker compared to you - but the idea of having alike stuff together in a plastic bag seems like it would work well.
