Maybe your search was too restricted (one way or another). My current bookmark file can be found in the following location C:\Document and Settings\User Name\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\5624zlo4.default\bookmarks.html

For user name, use the name you use logging on to the computer (Windows XP).

Copy this file to the same (corresponding) location on your new computer and you should be set-up correctly.

PS
I tried to do the search with Windows Explorer and that piece of software didn't even seem to want to acknowledge that the directory and subdirectories to "Application Data" even exists.

For my filemanager tasks, I use xplorer2. It is a really helpful piece of software.
