I didn't either. I grew up in upstate Ny and was what i thought a patriot...........instead I was a robotical lemming. Now I belong to various groups and one recites the Pledge of Allegiance................I have to change the words and feel weird when I say it. We should honor all that fought in wars when we were being attacked but should not glorify it so much. The need to fight a war is a terrible tragedy and a failure of civilization. It should be avoided with passion. Gotta hit the sack.............good night all!
