You've got that backwards for 4-socket systems, where it is now Intel that can compete in more or less the same league.

For 2P, I'll grant you that AMD finally having a QC part helps, but they have failed to retake the lead, and with the cost and yield issues associated with its monolithic part, combined with their debt & cash situation, things look bleak.
