so the effendi class sold out to zionist colonisers and left the peasants behind....a sad story of absentee land lords.... a statement which once again betrays your subsitution of guessing for any knowledge... do they not have a right to statehood non the less? it may take generations but they have as much right as anyone. Since when is statehood a universal human right? If you really want a state, you get people to sign onto the idea, you organize yourself and then you build it. You don't sit around demanding that somebody give it to you because it's your "right". On the other Palestinian front, the one that involves trying to destroy Israel instead of just building Palestine, I think you can observe that the Pals have been much more innovative self-starters on that score.
