Oh, probably anyone interested in the large number of applications whose performance will be better predicted by SPECint and SPECfp than their _rate cousins.

And, well, presumably IBM, who ran the benchmarks and published them.

AMD partisans, on the other hand, looking to put some lipstick, any lipstick, on the K10 pig will have no use for them, and seek to disparage them.
