I just edited that. LTCM 98 crisis had a different, longer
time frame, starting on July, 20, and ending on October,8,
when the SP500 just exceeded September,1 low a bit. I would
think September BKs are rare. 911 is, perhaps, the only
exception... Markets just don't crash in September, but
they do decline - September is the worst month for
stocks historically. It's best to sell and go away and come
back in October or November. -g-
