When I click Reset while on
siliconinvestor.com

I want the freshened page to go back to where I was, that is,
siliconinvestor.com

but now it goes always to
siliconinvestor.com

The view of the trees and forest at the Opera browser

Dave,

Too many posts with too many descriptions of font dificulties.

If you created a new board called "SI's mid-life Font Crisis" and included in the iBox
a summary of what SI pages (and where on the page) members find issues,
then it would be possible for members to post a VPR (Viewing Problem Report) in a post
that includes a templet you include in the iBox of information you and John need
to help track this experience that you have an "inability to reproduce it on any of our machines or browsers."

(i.e.) as Bob mentions his personal use of IE to represent the community

For example, can anyone document using Windows XP and the default setting of the IE
that arrived with Windows XP to duplicate the font trouble?

That might be a good focus to "capture" this issue.

For me, axe the

siliconinvestor.com

version. The results give me an excessively large font on all of my subject marks, forcing a double line for each subject marked, and the necessity to scroll to the right to read anything on the right side of the page view.

The current setting(s) are fine, as I'm seeing (pretty much) what I've always seen.

I'm using IE6 by the way.

EK!!!

PS - It would seem as though something, perhaps some third-party software or application open in another browser window is adversely affecting some users. Maybe you'd like to inquire what applications these people are running in other open windows (perhaps even in a different browser) that is having a cross-window effect on the SI page views.
