Yes I've done that too, but I found that just getting it over with and doing it before I freeze..............seeding and pulping............is the best method for me. I don't allow seeds in my sauces. I make lasagnas, spaghetti and meat balls, cattiatore and parmesan sauce out of that juice. I commented that it might make really good tomato soup when we were juicing last night. It is so thick this yr. We grow a few beefsteak toms, and Italian sauce toms for the real deal.
