OK, fair enough. Victory means that al Quaeda is history -- gone. Bin Laden gone. Iraq is a sovereign self-governing democratic nation and does not need help with its own security. Iraq comes in to the 21st century. Iran stops being a threat. Islam becomes a religion instead of a terrorist fountainhead. Some of this is outside of Iraq, but we're in Iraq now and it will be a hell of a lot harder to cope with once we leave. Maybe you think all that is none of our business, but as long as people are talking the way they do our security is at stake. We can't afford to act as though it isn't.
