I'm not surprised to learn that you consider the writings of the Mises Institute drivel.

I have no argument with Mises since he's the nominal founder of the school of my economic views.

However, you should be surprised that you're an extreme monetarist. That makes you a hypocrite, and as usual, you can't see your own hypocrisy. You'd fit right in with the academics, the ones who wear the emperor's new clothes as they parade to win money and notoriety within the requirements of the socialist state.

The Mises group has a few eccentricities but its basically standard economics.

True.

But Grace is quite proud of having passed this Mises test with flying colors. I believe she awarded herself a "D.D. in Austrian Economics" on the basis of passing this test, so we should respect that.

You should respect Grace, for, you won't find many who have her level of knowledge, and especially not in academia where mostly they're socialists and don't know Mises nor elementary classical economics. Instead, we always find you giving her a hard time for what you don't get about what she has said, and what is elementary Mises.

I'm intrigued by your own perspective on the effect of Supply and Demand on price - notably that increasing Supply sometimes increases price and sometimes lowers price.

Econ 1, elasticity. There are other variations, backward bending supply curve, more is supplied at a higher price, e.g. crude oil. You really ought to learn these elementary facts before you put yourself in the position of derision.

Since most economists believe increasing supply, holding other factors constant, leads to lower prices I'm sure your soon to be published paper on this topic will be widely read and spoken of.

Most economists don't deserve the degrees they have which they got only in order to get jobs with the state. Why give them any credence? Instead, you throw away what you apparently think you know in order to assert the falsity of what you don't know, and the falsity promulgated by all those economists which you don't respect. Trying to refute me with appeals to authority hidden in silly innuendo which only asserts your own incompetence, yields you no credibility.
