String along is the the 687 emails I've gotten month in and month out from the likes of the Daily Reckoning, Agora's 96 different newsletters, Larry Edelston of Weiss, James DiGiggiorio, Doug Casey, Peter Schiff and all the other 24 x 7 Gold perma bulls. For a year and a half they've strung me and every one of you along. First it was magnets, hold-tight, the Free Put, $1168 gold, then $2000 gold, then $2186 gold- all of them seeing who could make the most outlandish call. They kept telling us that the US Dollar was going to send gold to the moon, that Russian and Chinese Central banks were dumping US dollars & bonds and buying gold- and that was going to send gold to the moon. That inflation, that money supply, that the deficits- yada, yada, yada were all going to send gold to the moon. Well you and I both are still waiting to see the damn moon, because it never came. Neither gold, nor gold stocks (or, silver) have went to new highs. And worse than being DEAD MONEY for over a year and a half, all you REALLY need to do to see what REALLY happened to the average gold bull- is go scan the SI gold bug threads and read what happened to them- into and out of this most recent correction. Not a single gold guru, newsletter, or pundit on TV told us why, when and how- gold would correct. There was only 1 person that got all 3 of those items 110% correct- and that was Slider. And he said that 90% of the gold bulls would trade this wrong- and you did. Show me a newsletter, or article on Kitco, Gold-Eagle or an interview on TV with a gold bug that called the yen carry shakeout here? bearjones- if anyone really wants to see just how completely and utterly clueless the average SI gold bull is- just go to your profile link below and skim through your posts into and out of this gold shakeout. Member 9117529 There's about 15- "I'm lost, does anyone know why ____ is happening" posts on the NR thread - then about 40 posts here bitching about slider. You're worse than hubris. bearjones- in all honesty, after skimming through your posts- I can say I have never seen someone so completely and utterly clueless. 2 thoughts on that- 1. Get a life. 2. Get a broker. Because you are lost. Now it's plain for everyone to see that 90% of you people hate the SOB's guts. And given his taunts about your blatant permabull tunnel vision, his public humiliation of your demigogues like Sinclair etc- that you will never have anything good to say about the guy. But, what you can't deny is that he was the only person to call the yen-carry shakeout of gold, to call the timing perfectly and to re-enter perfectly. He got the why, the when and the how- all right. And you cry baby, nipple suckers can't get over it. Well, 99% of you any way. The odds favor the cautious bulls being correct (again) about how far this rally runs. As Slider has posted ad nauseum, goldbugs should have been selling everytime the channel has reached this point. And Slider was correct (I really don't know what Slider is planning to do on this trip). What is different this time?
