American Technology Corp. (ATCO) Tuesday named Katherine H. McDermott chief
financial officer.
The San Diego-based maker of directed acoustics products said McDermott replaces
Tom Brown, the company's president and chief executive, who was named interim
financial chief on Sept. 20, 2006, after it fired Steve Stringer.
McDermott has been controller and chief accounting officer for American
Technology since June 28.
Shares of the company, which launched a voluntary review of its stock-option
practices in December, closed Monday at $3.16, down 11 cents, or 3.4%.
American Technology Corp. (ATCO) launched a voluntary review of its stock-option
