I'll give you a multiple choice...

a) While the dollar is weaker here and the other currencies are stronger there, the companies listed on the exchanges here are doing international businesses in those other currencies there, and so these businesses are actually booming and the stock market is zooming while the storm is looming...

b) I don't have a clue...

c) It's all done with smoke and mirrors...

d) All the above

Frankly, I choose b because I can only guess since I don't have a clue...<g>

Vi, it seems the idea is to be out of overseas assets and related affected investments when the dollar does a trend reversal and shows strength. I have an idea what could cause a dollar trend reversal.
