WFMI) on Friday recalled fresh ground beef in several states due to a concern that it may be contaminated with E. coli bacteria. Whole Foods said the beef in question came from Coleman Natural Beef whose Nebraska Beef processing plant was previously subject to a nationwide recall for E. coli contamination. Although the illnesses linked to the ground beef are in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania, Whole Foods is expanding the recall to Florida, New York, and several other states as well as Canada. The ground beef was sold between June 2 and Aug. 6. End of Story
