Well, we'll see what the reaction of the public is.

So far every single time he has had a big splash of public exposure (debates, news show appearances like this) his campaign has seen a big *surge* in contributions and a bump upwards in the polls.

Right now (cash-on-hand and poll position) he seems to be sitting atop the 'second tier' of candidates... which is still far below the first tier of front runners: Rudy/Fred/Mitt/John.

Interesting to see (now that we are just into the traditional 'start period' - post Labor Day - for national campaigns) is he will be able to jump from his position at the front of the 'second tier', into the 'first tier'.

With Rudy/Fred/Mitt/John beating up on each other, and with the high number of folks unsatisfied with all four (for example: 'none-of-the-above' might win if it was a valid ballot option), who knows what is possible anymore?
