Is it really impossible not to look at the standardbearer's of one's own party or political philosophy and not admit some have feet of clay? It would seem so for longnshort. And, yes, some on the left are just as bad. I agree. The worst thing that could happen for the Country in the next four years would be for the republicans to be reduced to a minor party with no influence and no ability to block legislation or keep a filibuster going. Right now, I think that could happen. Maybe some people are happier complaining about the "other guys" in power. Seems odd to me to not see the obvious.
