Here's a question for you: why would you tend to believe more strongly in the effect of the ticker symbol change as the price approaches $10? Why not $7.00? Why not $20.00? I just chose a round number, no specific reason. I would like to see it reach $10 :) In fact, why would you think the ticker symbol change had anything to do with it at all? Maybe it has nothing to do with it, but the stock has been rising consistently since the symbol changed. Maybe investors see this as some sort of a turning point for the company.

Hi Qwik - Any chance that SUNW/JAVA will spin off a separate division or company for virtulization software and equipment like EMC did with VMware? After the reverse split, it seems logical that the new company "JAVA" would focus on (1) Services, (2) software and (3) equipment. A hybrid product/service that focuses on the "virtulization" technology could take the best pieces from 2 & 3 and build a new company around it. JAVA could still service the accounts while the virtulization team reaches outside the current JAVA core parts and build an optimized virtulization system which would include VMstorage, VMOS, VMsecurity, VMsoftware utilities . . . VMetc. In fact, this could be the new "SUNW" while JAVA continues to buy worthless companies and enhances their Unix/Lnux Solaris OS until it dies. Then JAVA company will be a Service company providing support services to enterprise IT departments including SUNWVMware products. EKS
