The American people are sick of shoveling ten billion a month down the toilet of Iraq. We're sick of losing 60 soldiers a month killed and hundreds wounded. The Dems are trying to extricate us. The (R)'s seem intent on perpetual war.

Our dumbass leader is going to come on TV Thursday and tell us all that he's going to "draw down" the troop levels. We'll go from 180,000 post surge to 130,000 - which is magically just where we were BEFORE the surge! There's another phrase for this - one he's abandoned - "Stay the Course"!

I don't think it'll sell this time, but it's become a question put to Republicans that want to get re-elected. The Dems don't have the numbers alone to force it, but they can certainly hilight that it's REPUBLICANS that are keeping us in Iraq.

Any "victory" we could achieve in Iraq, if even possible, would at this point be a Pyhrric one at the VERY best.
