Its hard to understand what your argument is.

Certainly rich people have oppressed poor people. That doesn't mean that all rich people everywhere oppress all poor people, or that we should generally try to extract a pound of flesh from all the rich to make up for the abuses of specific rich people.

As for all the religious bit. Your argument isn't very coherent, and even if it was it would only be relevant to people who support the same religious interpretation (not to Christians in general, let alone the whole world).

If you do think we should set tax and regulatory policy based on Bible quotes, please say so specifically so I can no where your coming from. If you don't than your engaging in sophistry.

In any case I don't see any quote from Jesus in the Bible calling for high taxes or heavy regulation of corporations, or big government in general. I also don't see anything in the Bible that's relevant to the earlier issue in this thread about Americans supposedly starving.
